Harry Forlenza-Bailey & His Ensemble

Musician, Educator, Composer, Arranger ~

my compositions brought to life from the different variations of University of Denver's Small Group 1. We had a lot of fun making this music during my Graduate Studies there and I'm happy it has the platform to be shared with the world now. Special thanks to Ben Parrish offering "Quinoa" to the Vegetable Suite. Another special thanks to Eric Gunnison and Steve Wiest who offered their ensemble coaching to the group throughout the composition, arranging, and performance process. A final special thanks to the music program's faculty and community of students at the Lamont School of Music and the Newman Center for the Performing Arts. I'm in deep gratitude to my time, friendships, mentors, administrators, engineers, scholarship donors, and facilities offered from these aforementioned influences. Without you all there would be no life to this music.

In addition, I would like to express my gratitude and sincerity to the teachings of the Native Americans. "Arapahoe Joe's Dream" is a peace offering based from my music that I wish the world to consider. A dream is not reality, but a dream has the power to change reality through a course of time from its initial impact. We, as a world united, need to make more communal, positive changes for the due respect for the Native people of this land. Dream to make such a difference worldwide for any and all people who deserve such due respect after our country's historic course of racism, hate and prejudice. The people affected, and their culture, should not have to suffer in vain due to mass ignorance of such problems and adversities of the matter. Dream of the difference you can make. Thank you for reading and listening. Enjoy the continued message of peace. HFB
