Freedom Over Certainty is a new student jazz ensemble from the University of the Arts. Led by professor Joshua Stamper, the octet is devoted to widening the possibilities of harmony, form, rhythm, and texture. The group's original music is a vehicle for artistic discovery—vocals, winds, brass, vibraphone, guitar, bass, and percussion combine to form a vibrant palette of musical colors.
