Mike Raymond is a guitarist, composer, and educator based out of Philadelphia, PA. He has studied with guitarists Kevin Hanson and Greg Kettinger, as well as saxophonist/arranger Jack Saint Clair. He has performed with the Temple University Jazz Band under the instruction of Terell Stafford alongside guests including Joey DeFrancesco, Christian McBride, and Stefon Harris. He performs regionally with a plethora of artists, including his octet, presenting his original compositions, as well as new takes on contemporary popular songs. He has offered private instruction and previously taught guitar at Roman Catholic High School.
