Bassist Michael Feinberg & his CD Release Tour with special guest, Jeff "Tain" Watts

Hailed as a "musical prodigy turned evil genius" (spinner.com) bassist Michael Feinberg has quickly "become one of the premier young artists on the New York scene" (Jazz Inside Magazine). As a youth in Atlanta, Feinberg and musical cohort Daniel Platzman spent every Thursday night for two ears checking out local legend and Grammy nominee Russell Gunn at the famed Churchill Grounds jazz club. After getting a couple of opportunities to sit in, Feinberg joined Gunn's band for the next 6 months until he left for the University of Miami. As a sophomore at UM, Michael recorded his first record "Harajuku" with Platzman, Pascal LeBoeuf, Rob Hanlon, Remy Leboeuf and Steve Pardo. This recording helped Feinberg become a resident of 2008"s Betty Carter Jazz Ahead program at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
