One Night at Chris’ (2019, Dave Wilson Music) recorded live at the famous Chris’ Jazz Café made the WRTI-FM, Philadelphia Jazz Radio Station “Jazz Album of the Week” the summer of 2019 and was in the top 50 in jazz radio. From writer Bill Milkowski. “The crackling intensity of One Night at Chris’ is a testament to what can happen on the bandstand on any given night. And this was a particularly good night indeed.” His new recording, Stretching Supreme, again recorded here at Chris’, features the same all-star lineup you will see tonight: Kirk Reese and Liebman Band mainstays Tony Marino and Alex Ritz. It will be a great night of music! “Wilson and his teammates are clearly invested in the enterprise, musically and emotionally… there is enticing jazz to be uncorked here and handsome solos.”
